Hi, I’m Ørjan. I’m a Norwegian wedding photographer now based in southern France, after many years growing up and working in Norway. Photography has always been about people for me. Their connection, their quiet moments, the laughter that comes out of nowhere, and the small gestures that often mean the most.
My journey with photography didn’t start with perfect plans or a clear roadmap. It grew slowly through life, travel, and paying attention to how moments unfold when nothing is forced. That’s why I work in a documentary style. I follow natural light, subtle movement, and real interactions. I don’t interrupt your day or turn it into a performance. I stay close, observant, and present, letting the story happen as it naturally does.
I’m inspired by cinema, nature, and real human connection. I love working in places where the surroundings become part of the story, whether that’s a quiet village, a vineyard, the mountains, or a simple room filled with people you love. Wherever you choose to marry, my approach stays the same. Calm, honest, and focused on how it actually felt.
Based in Occitanie, I photograph weddings and elopements across southern France and beyond. Many of the couples I work with come from different countries, and I speak English fluently while continuing to improve my French.

Built around real moments and real light, this preset focuses on keeping the atmosphere of a scene while adding depth and structure.
It doesn’t try to reshape the image. Instead, it supports what’s already there. Contrast is used to bring out the mood, while tones stay soft enough to keep the image calm and honest. Shadows are allowed to stay present, giving weight to the frame without losing important detail.
