Get to know Ørjan.

Hi, I’m Ørjan Markussen, a wedding photographer originally from Norway and now based in southern France. I photograph couples who choose France for the atmosphere, the light, and the experience, not just for how it looks, but for how it feels to be here.

I started photography years ago in Norway, and what kept me in it was never trends or gear. It was people. The way a moment happens once and disappears, and how a photo can bring it back. Moving to France shaped that even more. Things feel slower here, more intentional, less focused on perfection and more on being present. That mindset is at the core of how I approach weddings today.

Most couples I speak with feel unsure at the start. You might not know what to look for, you might feel awkward in front of a camera, or you might feel like you’re comparing too many options. That’s normal. You haven’t done this before. My role is to make this part of your wedding feel clear and simple.
