Wedding Photography FAQ

How it works

How would you describe your photography style?

My approach is documentary, which means I don’t stage or direct your day. You can read more about my style HERE.

I focus on real moments as they naturally happen. The quiet ones, the chaotic ones, the emotional ones in between.

There’s no pressure to perform or pose. You get to experience your wedding as it actually unfolds, and the photos reflect that.

Do you give any direction at all?

Very little, and only when it helps.

Most of the day is completely observational. During portraits, I’ll gently guide you and give small tips when needed, so everything still feels natural and relaxed.

Nothing forced, nothing overly posed — just enough direction to help you feel comfortable and for the images to stay candid and true to the moment.

If you’re worried about being in front of the camera, you’re exactly the kind of couple I work with.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I’m based in Occitanie in the South of France, and I photograph weddings across France and Europe.

If you’re planning a destination wedding, I’m always happy to travel.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book between 6–18 months in advance.

Popular dates (especially in summer) tend to go quickly, so it’s always worth checking availability as early as you can.

How do we book you?

It starts with a message. Once I know your date is available, I’ll send over full information and we can talk through your plans.

To secure the booking, a signed contract and a deposit are required.

How many photos do we receive?

It depends on the length and flow of your day, but typically you’ll receive several hundred carefully edited images.

Rather than focusing on quantity, the goal is to tell the full story, honestly and completely.

When will we receive our photos?

You’ll receive your full gallery within 6-8 weeks after the wedding.

I don’t rush the process, but I also know how important it is to relive the day while it’s still fresh.

Do you photograph destination weddings?

Yes, a big part of my work is documenting destination weddings across France and Europe.

Whether it’s a countryside wedding in Occitanie or a multi-day celebration abroad, the approach stays the same: natural, unobtrusive, and focused on real moments.

Do you work alone?

Most of the time, yes. Working alone allows me to stay unobtrusive and fully focused on what’s happening.

If your wedding requires additional coverage, a second photographer can be arranged.

What if it rains?

Nothing changes. Some of the most honest, atmospheric moments happen in imperfect conditions. Rain doesn’t ruin a wedding, it just becomes part of the story.

Can we request specific shots?

If something is truly important to you, of course. But rather than working from a shot list, I focus on capturing what naturally happens, which is where the most meaningful images come from.

How would you describe working with you?

Simple and relaxed. You won’t be pulled away from your day unnecessarily. You won’t be told how to act. The idea is that you can be fully present, and trust that everything important is being captured.
